An Admin of the .hack//Connection RP group! [[Yep, I know the music isn't .hack, but the English portion of this song is sung by Sandy Fox, who is Mistral's dub actress. What could be more fitting?]]
“Y-you give rare items to your friends…?”
Hermit seemed surprised with that statement. That’s what people with friends do, too, then. So…
It took him a long while to say something again. But he had already made up his mind when he pulled his twig.
“Okay! So… here!”
He moved his twig up and down, from one side to another, like a maestro. And then, in the air, a ‘Shy Staff’ appeared.
“That’s for you! You’re my friend, right?”
And he gave a biiig smile.Mayumi’s eyes widened into her headset as a new item suddenly blinked into Mistral’s inventory. Scrolling to it until it was highlighted, her eyes saucered at a LVL 38 item she’d never even heard of! Eagerly pressing the “confirm” button on her controller, she opened the menu and viewed the specs on the weapon. So it dropped her Phys. and Magical attack by 30 points, but raised her both of her accuracy specs by 30. The skill spells weren’t high level, and it didn’t have any effects. Overall, it wasn’t a weapon Mistral would have taken into battle with her.
But who cared!? It was a rare, unseen, never-before-heard-of item! And for Mistral, who had extensive knowledge of The World’s items, that was saying a lot. As Mayumi smiled and did a little dance in her office chair, she pressed a few buttons and Mistral began jumping for joy in The World.
«Woooow! :-O You’re really GIVING me this!? Please allow me to give you something in return! It wouldn’t be right for me to just take it!»
Mistral’s reactions made Hermit’s smile linger for a long time in his face. And he just looked at her while she checked the weapon he just gave her.
- Nah, there is no need to give me anything. - He was still smiling.
- Oh, wait! I know! Give me your member address! That would be enough.
«My member address? That’s all? That’s really all you want?»
That was odd. This didn’t seem like a normal player, and if it was an NPC, could it even accept her member address? Nonetheless, she selected Hermit’s name on the screen and FWDed her info to him.
«There ya goooo ;-D But… are you sure you don’t want an item! I got tons I bet you could find really useful! I feel bad just taking your item like this— us rare-hunters have an honor code, you know!»
That was a big, fat lie. As far as honor codes went, Mistral didn’t know of another treasure hunter who had one quite like hers. Some hacked the game for rare items. Some stole or cheated others out of their rare items. That said, there were respectable ones, but sometimes she felt as though they themselves were as rare as the items they searched for.
Mayumi wracked her brains trying to remember if she had ever heard of this Player-Killer, which she could only assume was actually the PC in front of her, but came up with nothing. Mistral knew everything about rare PCs and items, and if she didn’t know, she found out. If he were really so well-known, she would have heard about him, right? Then again, she had been neglecting the BBS lately.
«”Terror of Death”? Never heard of you. =u= Guess you must not be so famous after all then, huh?»
All talk of PKKs and the like were put on the back-burner as Haseo pulled out a scythe-like weapon that was unlike any other that Mistral had ever seen. She let out a low whistle before her avatar went into a frenzied state, flailing her arms around.
«Wowwie! ヽ（゜ロ゜；）ノ That’s amaaaazing! Where did you get that item? It isn’t even listed in my to-obtain list! Did you get that from an event!?»
She froze as a though suddenly occurred to her.
«But how can you wield a weapon like that as a Twin Blade?»
Haseo let out a sigh at the girls unknowing, actually it was a good thing. It was better this girl didn’t know to much about him. Though it did bug him slightly she knew absolutely nothing about the rumor. The famous PKK that supposedly slaughtered hundreds of PK’s and won all three arena titles. Being the emporer of all three at one point or another. “Yeah, I guess not.” he said with a light laugh to puncuate his sentance with.
“W-Wah?! Geez!!! ” Haseo was startled at the sudden jumping and flailing that came from the girl. How could someone get so excited over a weapon? He then let out a laugh at the girls question and placed a hand on his hip. “Who ever said I was a twin blade?” he said with slight cockiness in his voice. “I’m an Adept Rouge. There isn’t very many in the World considering when you start off all your stats are extremely low. I leveled up, so I can use twin blades, broadswords, scythes and dual guns. Its one of the abilitys of an adept rouge. Though I wasn’t suppose to be able to use guns-” Haseo cut himself off there. No one was suppose to know his PC was in fact hacked. A Xth form that wasn’t suppose to exist. He tryed to avoid the question about where he got his scythe, he already had said much more than he should have.
Mistral’s head tilted in confusion at his explanation. “Adept… Rouge”? That wasn’t anything she’d ever heard of, and considering how long Mistral had been playing this game, that said a lot! She didn’t remember having ever been given that as a class option when she was creating her character.
«Well, I’VE never heard of that class! D-: How do I know you’re not just pulling my leg?»
Maybe… the class was added one day after game maintenance and she had simply overlooked the announcement. Mayumi’s habit of ignoring e-mails from CC Corp. was coming back to bite her!
«You look like a Twinny-Blade to meeeee… but then what do I know? I’m just a humble treasure-hunter.»
Despite her confusion at his World Class, she was a bit relieved to see him laugh and smile a little more. It helped to set her own nerves at ease.

ooc: yeah! xD As soon as I heard it I was like…”Oh…my…God…RUROUNI KENSHIN?!?!!? ABJHSHDGJD” haha xD I use to love Rurouni Kenshin, it was one of my favorite shows….now I feel the need to watch it again xD
I know a site where you can watch the dub, since I’m not a big fan of the sub. xD I just can’t get used to Kenshin with a girly voice. If you want, I can you link you to it. But yes, Kenshin is awesomeness. I’ll be RPing him sometime in the near future.

I know someone who once had FOURTEEN.
But to be completely honest, about half of them are on hiatus, and I think in order to balance out my workload, I’m going to drop one of them once I make Anise. I was originally planning on dropping Mistral, but if people still want me here then I’ll drop my Shizuo blog instead.
Oh, I don’t think you should keep Mistral if you don’t want to. XD That should be your decision. Though I’ve missed Mistral a lot.
I’m mostly going by demand. Shizuo and Mistral are my two least popular blogs. At first, I chose Mistral because she had about half as many followers as Shizuo, but given the fact that there are tons of Shizuos on Tumblr and no one actually cares if I deactivate him or not, Mistral is the better choice.
Plus I co-mod this group, after all, and I don’t want to just abandon it. ;n; Plus the .hack RPers are some of the nicest I’ve met!

It’s more or less just my connection to the characters I play. I have to be able to think as the character if I want to respond as them, so when I say “My Mistral muse is dead”, it just means I’m not able to get into character. When I say I’m making another muse or there’s another muse on the way, it means I’m thinking about or am going to create a new RP blog for another character…
…which I REALLY shouldn’t be doing as I already have so many… but once you start making new characters, it’s really hard to stop.
I get that, I just don’t do that. I generally just analyze the character and it takes a lot of thinking and stuff. Muse seems more natural than what I do, I guess. I don’t know. I just don’t get it. XD
I am having that problem though. -_- I mean I’ve only got two right now but I always want others.
I only had one for the longest time.
But then Kite-mun came to me and asked me to create my second RP blog, which was Yuki. And then my third one came a couple of months later when she asked me to make Mistral.
And since then, I haven’t been able to stop. She set off a chain reaction.
This new blog I’m making will be my tenth one.
